Obituary

Zion Glenn Fritzinger, 29, of Zionsville, passed away on August 23, 2025. Born in Allentown, he was the beloved son of Lucille D. "Lulu" (Daddona) Fritzinger and the late Glenn Fritzinger.

Zion worked with Behr Paints and Trains and Lanes, but his true passion was music. A talented jazz guitarist, he performed at many gigs throughout the region, bringing joy to audiences with his artistry. He was also an avid model train enthusiast and a former member of the Lehigh and Keystone Model Railroad Museum. His love of history led him to spend countless hours researching the Lehigh Valley Railroad and the area's industrial past.

Zion found peace and inspiration in nature. He was an enthusiastic hiker, a skilled cook, and most of all, a devoted family man. He had a rare gift for finding joy and beauty in everyday life, and he lived each moment with warmth, passion, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  He had a profound impact on everyone he met.

He is survived by his mother, Lulu; his partner, Kelsey Adair, with whom he shared a home within Carbon County; his maternal grandmother, Lucille Daddona; his maternal grandfather, Victor Daddona, and wife Maryellen; aunts and uncles, Sherry Lerch, Victoria and husband Bill Helvig, Bruce Fritzinger and wife Pilar, Carol and husband Dirk Pratley, and Victor Daddona and wife Stacey; along with cousins, Shawn, Joshua, Maria and husband Laith, Alysa and husband Chris, Alan and Casandra, and Willa and Angelo.  He was predeceased by his godmother, Kathy McMullen.

A Celebration of Zion's Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Old Zionsville U.C.C., 5981 Fountain Road, Zionsville. Arrangements are being handled by Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
