William J. Seidel, Jr., 97, of Emmaus, died peacefully on October 16, 2025 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.   He was the husband of the late Gladys J. (Cole) Seidel.  Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Lydia (Reis) and William J. Seidel, Sr.  He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.  Bill started his career at General Acceptance Corporation and later was a branch manager for Lehigh Valley Bank before retiring.

William is survived by his daughter, Pamela wife of Thomas Wieder; grandchildren, Jennifer Wieder and Jason Fegely and Michael Wieder and Lexi Johnson; great grandson, Jackson Fegely; sisters, Maryellen wife of Terry Mengel and Elizabeth wife of Arthur Schlapich.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, Emmaus is handling arrangements.
