William R. Schlott, 80, of Schnecksville, died Oct. 30, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the husband of Edna V. (Stoudt) Schlott.  Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late LeRoy C. and Dorothy L. (Kehm) Schlott.  Bill was a 1960 graduate of Emmaus High School.  He honorably served his country in the Army during Vietnam.  He worked as a clerk and dispatcher for PennDOT for 35 years, retiring in 2004.  He was a member of New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Tripoli.  He was a member of Fire Company #1 and #2 Emmaus, Emmaus VFW, Emmaus Ambulance Corps, Emmaus Fire Department, and Schnecksville Senior Citizens.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Edna; sons, Robert Schlott of Bethlehem and Rick Schlott; daughter, Rebecca Snyder of Topton; sisters, Miriam Strohl of Topton and Florence Miller of Hamburg; 5 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a sister, Mae Schlott and a brother, Charles Schlott.

Funeral services will be held on Sun., Nov. 6, 2022 at 4:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 2:30 to 4:00 PM in the funeral home.
