William M. Ryan, 86, of Allentown, died Oct. 7, 2018 in Luther Crest.  He was the husband of Emilie A. (Van Billiard) Ryan.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Violet A. (Wert) Ryan and the late Merritt C. Ryan.  He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.  He graduated from Ryder College with a BS in Business Administration.  Bill retired as an Executive Manager from Sears Roebuck and Company after 33 years.

Bill is survived by his wife, Emilie; Son, James Ryan and wife Sally; Daughters, Marjorie wife of Patrick McEnerney; and Jeannette wife of Paul Webber; Grandchildren, Emilie, Douglas, Anne, Elise, Michael, Amy, and James.  He was predeceased by brothers, Paul and Robert Ryan.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
