Obituary

William Lee Ritter, 63, of Coopersburg, died January 22, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Naomi R. (Boring) Ritter. Born in Vera Cruz, he was the son of the late Raymond and Katherine (Heft) Ritter, and foster son of Owen and Dolores Beahn. William worked for Monarch, Coke, Reinhardt Awing, and Crest Gas. He was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Coopersburg, a Girl Scout Member of the Southern Lehigh Service Unit, and a member of Upper Milford Field and Stream. He honorably served his country in the Navy during Vietnam.

Survivors: Wife; Daughters, Miranda Ritter of Coopersburg, Marci wife of Charles Williams of Northampton, and Ami Ritter of Emmaus; Brothers, Keith Ritter and wife Sherellyn of New Tripoli and LaVerne Ritter of Vera Cruz; Sisters, Mary Jane Ritter-Dise wife of Wilmer Dise of Slatington and Debra wife of Marvin Busher of Prosperity, SC; 4 Foster Siblings; 6 Grandchildren. He was predeceased by Brothers, Raymond and Philip Ritter and Sister, Sylvia Zabower.

Services: Funeral Services Friday Jan. 29, 2016 at 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home P.C., 250 Main St. Emmaus. Viewing Thursday 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home for Miranda's College Education.
