William Widmann, Jr., 82, of New Port Richey, FL, formerly of Allentown, PA. died December 4, 2017 in his residence.  He was the husband of Alice (Thompson) Widmann.  Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Isabelle (Davidson) and William Widmann, Sr.  He was a police officer for the Philadelphia Police Department for 25 years.  He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of Lehigh Valley Baptist Church.

Survivors: Wife, Alice; Son, Christian T. Widmann and wife Lori of New Port Richey, FL; Granddaughters, Krista, Brittany, Alyssa, Ashley, and Amanda.

Services: Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in Lehigh Valley Baptist Church, 4702 Colebrook Ave., Emmaus.   Viewing 11:00 to 12 Noon in the church.  Interment with military honors will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
