February 2, 1939 – September 20, 2025
Willard R. Windt, 86, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Sept. 20, 2025 while residing at Devon House. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Willard L. and Anna M. (Maza) Windt. Willard was a graduate of Nanticoke High School and Millersville State College. He was an Industrial Arts teacher for the East Penn School District for many years and introduced taped lessons of industrial arts classes. He was a former member of the Emmaus Lions Club and member of PSEA, NEA, EPEA, and was a friend of Mr. Bill.
Willard is survived by his brother, James F. Windt and wife Dorothy; nieces, Jennifer wife of Duane Gutshall and Kimberly wife of Eric Dost; nephew, Matthew Windt and wife Erin; great nieces and nephew, Ashley, Jordyn, Courtney, and Andrew; step brother-in-law, Ronald Wolfe. He was predeceased by his stepmother, Dorothy K. Stackhouse and a stepsister, Joan Wolfe.
Willard's family would like to thank the staff and residents of Devon House for the support and friendship of Willard during his stay there.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
