Dr. Warren L. Ziegenfus, III, 92, of Bethlehem, died peacefully Nov. 13, 2025 in St. Luke's Hospice House.   He was the husband of the late Norma J. (Rowden) Ziegenfus.  They were married for 52 years. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Mildred (Schuler) and Warren L. Ziegenfus, Jr.  Warren honorably served his country in the Air Force from 1953-1957.  He was a graduate of Moravian College and Temple University Medical School.  He practiced medicine for 50 years. His career began in family practice and included serving as the Medical Director at Western Electric and doing rounds at Phoebe Home in Allentown where he would entertain patients with corny jokes.  He was a member of St. John's U.C.C., Farmersville, where he sang in the choir and played piano duets.  In his later years, Warren was a resident at Kirkland Village, where he was an avid bridge player and a member of the morning Coffee Klatch.

Dr. Ziegenfus is survived by his children, Jan wife of Brian Bustrak, Warren L. Ziegenfus, IV and wife Elizabeth, Eric Ziegenfus and wife Gisela, Karl Ziegenfus and wife Judy, and Allen Ziegenfus; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Edward S. Ziegenfus and wife Lucy; sisters, Jane Hamill, Susan Louise Anderson, and Sandra M. Paulsen.  He was predeceased by siblings Charles Ziegenfus and Valerie Beers.

A celebration of Warren's life will be held on Sat., Jan. 3, 2026 in St. John's U.C.C., 8065 William Penn Highway, Easton. Visitation at 9:00 AM. Service at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.  Schantz Funeral Home, Emmaus is handling arrangements.
