Dr. Warren M. Hamscher Dr. Warren M. Hamscher, 86, of Emmaus, died January 28, 2007 in Lehigh Center, Macungie. He was the husband of Jeanne M. (Engleman) Hamscher. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in October 2006. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Morris and Anna (Trexler) Hamscher. He was a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and University of Pennsylvania Dental School. He had a dental practice in Emmaus for 34 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Emmaus. He honorably served his country in the Marines during WWII. He was a charter member and past president of the Emmaus Kiwanis Club, member of the Emmaus Library Board and a member of the American Legion Post 191 and Emmaus VFW Post 7088. Survivors: Wife, Son, Richard Hamscher of Ridgway, CO; Daughters, Janet wife of Peter Nelson of Macungie, Jeanne Hamscher of Emmaus, Joanne wife of Charles Resta of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Karla wife of Burt Pritchett of Frederick, MD; Sister, Lois Wanisko of Phillipsburg, NJ; Grandchildren, Erik Nelson, Stephen Litrides, Douglas Litrides, Charles Shaffer, Alex Shaffer, Elizabeth Shaffer, and Andrea Pritchett. Services: Funeral Services Friday, February 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
