Walter J. Amante, 64, of Allentown, died June 24, 2021 in his home.  Born in Washingtonville, NY, he was the son of the late Walter J. and Jean Amante.  He was a graduate of Syracuse University.  Walter worked as micro-electronics engineer for Broadcom for many years.  He was a member of the Mustang Club and Lehigh Valley Kennel Club.

Walter is survived by his son, Josue T. Amante, Sr. and fiancée Reney Haney of Emmaus; grandson, Josue T. Amante, Jr.; brother, Marc Amante.

Funeral services will be held on Tues., July 6, 2021 at 7:30 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the funeral home.  Interment will be private in Washingtonville Cemetery.
