Obituary

Wallace R. "Wally" Stauffer, 73, of Old Zionsville, died of a broken heart July 5, 2016 in his residence. He was the widower of Maryann L. Stauffer, who died June 16, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Albert E. and Ruth E. (Montz) Stauffer. Wally worked as an electrical engineer for Air Products, retiring in 2013. He was a member of Old Zionsville U.C.C. Wally was a WWII enthusiast, witty with a wonderful sense of humor, and loved tennis, fishing, model ship building, pinochle, scrabble, and reading. He honorably served his country in the Navy from 1960 to 1963. Wally was a loving father and friend.

Survivors: Daughters, Sherri L. wife of Kevin Farrell of Fogelsville and Kristin A. Stauffer of New Tripoli; Brothers, Alan Stauffer and wife Kay of New Tripoli and Jeffrey Stauffer and wife Holly of Carolina Beach, NC; Granddaughter, Hannah; several nieces and nephews.

Services: Joint memorial services for Wally and Maryann will be held on Sat., July 9, 2016 at 3:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the funeral home.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Ste 170 , Bethlehem, PA 18017 or to a charity of your choice.
