Virginia Lisk Rems Virginia Lisk Rems, 77, of Macungie, died April 12, 2012 in her residence. She was the widow of the late Robert D. Lisk and Wilbur P. Rems. Born in Mercer County, OH on her grandmothers farm, she was the daughter of the late Mabel M. (Bigelow) Detrick and John W. and Alice (Sweeney) Detrick. She was employed at the Allentown Art Museum as assistant curator, Aten Insurance, and Bear Swamp Beverage. She enjoyed traveling, quilting, golfing, cooking, and the Phillies. Survivors: Children, Kimberly wife of Daniel Schmick of Emmaus, Greg Molder and wife Tami of Macungie, Tracy Lisk and and partner Jordan Burgis of Philadelphia, and Andrew Lisk of Hilton Head, SC; Stepson, Philip Rems and wife Mary of Buffalo, NY; Sister, Marilyn wife of Stanley Kaufman of Emmaus; Brother-in-Law, Harry Dunlap of Delphos, OH; Grandchildren, Rebecca Hoffman, Neil Molder, and Sarah Molder; Step Grandchildren, Andrew Schmick and wife Becky, Melissa wife of Todd Heckman, Nina wife of Fred DeLong, Kristen, Kaitlyn, and Kara Gerlach. She was predeceased by a daughter, Kelly Lisk and a sister, Patty (Morgan) Dunlap. Services: Funeral Services Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing Friday 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Saturday 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Private interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Macungie.
