Virginia L. (Brehm) Fishburn, 91, of Macungie, formerly of Emmaus, died May 5, 2015 at Lehigh Commons surrounded by family. She was married to Davidson K. Fishburn for 61 years prior to his death in 2003. Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Mary M. (Hoch) Brehm. She was a file clerk at Rodale Press for many years. She was a charter member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus, where she was a member of the choir and altar guild. Ginger volunteered for Meals on Wheels and received the Most Hours Volunteered Award in 1998. Survivors: Daughters, Sharon wife of Charles Koehler of Emmaus, Patricia wife of Joel Sencer of Ocala, FL, and Trudy wife of E. Glenn Kleppinger of Emmaus; Brother, Donald J. Brehm of Carlisle; 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Services: A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:30 AM in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 South Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus. Visitation 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church. Private interment will take place in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit Memorial Garden. Schantz Funeral Home, 250 Main St., Emmaus is handling arrangements. Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ginger's name to a charity of choice.
