Vincent Donald Sousa "Don", 87, of Emmaus, died Jan. 19, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Francine (Trobiano) Sousa. Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Dominic and Jean (Trinca) Sousa.  He was a graduate of Seton Hall University.  Don worked as an underwriter for Metropolitan Life and later was a partner in Kingsland Meat Distributors in Lyndhurst, NJ.  He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus.  He was a keen supporter of St. Jude's, Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia, Tunnels to Towers, and Catholic Charities.  Don was a voracious reader, a die-hard football fan (Go, Giants!) and a lifelong weightlifter.

Don is survived by his daughters, Donna Sousa of Emmaus, Lori wife of Imrich Gombar of Hellertown, and Sharon C. Ravenelle of Allentown; stepchildren, Kim Caruso of Hackensack, NJ, and Robert husband of Joyce Caruso of Hackensack, NJ; grandchildren, Victoria, Sasha, Sophie, Joe, Valentina, Max and AJ; sisters, Lucille wife of Joe Engrassia of Rocky Mount, NC and Arleen Mizeski of New Port Richey, FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sat., Jan. 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus.  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
