Obituary

Veronica T. Kollesar, of Allentown, died peacefully Mon., March 20, 2023 in the care of her loving family.  Born in Kelayres, May 22, 1930, to the late Nicholas and Philomena (Aita) Sposato.  After attending Kelayers schools, she worked in several garment factories until eventually retiring from the customer service department of Hess's of Allentown after 17 years.  She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus.

Veronica is the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph; brothers, Bruno and Salvadore; and sisters, Nicholine, Lucy, Mary, and Josephine.  She is survived by her daughter, Carol (David) Babbish of Hazle Twp.; son, Joseph of Allentown; grandchildren, Melissa Loss (Frederick) of Hazle Twp. and Brandon Babbish of Glen Lyon; great granddaughter Ashley Loss of Hazle Twp.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Fri., March 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, 415 S. 6 th St., Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.  The family wishes to thank Bayada Hospice for their care of Veronica during her last days.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for lovingly creating memories within our family.  We will cherish them forever.
