Valeria R. Fretz Valeria R. Fretz, 89, formerly of Emmaus, died Nov. 17, 2010 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of the late Harvey D. Fretz. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Ella (Mood) Rosenberger. She worked as a secretary for Fretz Realty and as the secretary for the Dean of Students at Cedar Crest College for many years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. Matthew's E.C. Church, Emmaus, where she played the organ and piano and was a Bible School and Sunday School Teacher. She was a member of the Woman's Club of Emmaus and a member of the Christian Woman's Club of the Lehigh Valley. Survivors: Son, John R. Fretz and wife Susan of Emmaus; Daughters, Patrice A. wife of Frank Schiaffo of Emmaus and Lori J. wife of Jim Simmons of Macungie; Brother, Harley Rosenberger of St. Petersburg, FL; 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson. Services: Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Friday 7:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus.
