Terry L.
Schantz

Terry L. Schantz, 57, of Allentown, died on May 28th, 2025. He was the husband of Tammy L. (Petros) Schantz. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Marvin L. and Blanche (Arndt) Schantz. He was a devoted husband, caring father, respected landscape architect, and faithful friend. Terry will always be remembered for his kindness, endless generosity, calming demeanor, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. He would do anything for everybody without hesitation.
Terry was a graduate of Temple University, where he received his Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture. He owned and operated Landscape Concepts by Design Pool and Outdoor Living and previously was a part owner and operator of Western Lehigh Landscape. Terry was an unbelievably talented landscape and pool designer and won multiple awards for Best Landscaping by Lehigh Valley Magazine's Best of the Valley. He took extreme pride in his work and strived to provide the best service to his customers.
In his personal life, Terry enjoyed long walks with his dogs, coaching and watching his kids play sports, golfing, and going down the shore to Avalon, NJ. He bled green for the Philadelphia Eagles and loved cheering them on with Andrew and Mark. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his wife and kids. The newest addition to the family, his grandson Brooks, brought him so much joy.
