Litzenberger
July 17, 1943 – January 26, 2016
Terry R. Litzenberger, 72, of Emmaus, died January 26, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice. He was the husband of Joann (Binder) Litzenberger. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Pvt. Richard H. Litzenberger (dec. on battle during WWII in France in 1944) and Bernice (Sittler) Wieder and Step-father Carlton Wieder. Terry was a 1961 graduate of Emmaus High School and a graduate of Electronics Training Center of Allentown. He owned and operated Terry R. Litzenberger Electronics, later known as TRL Security Co of Emmaus for 30 years and previously was Chief Technician for RCA Service Co. He taught Electronics at Lincoln Tech when it was known as Ryder Tech, Allentown. Terry was a dedicated member for 41 years, past president, Melvin Jones Fellow of the Emmaus Lions Club, and was production director and writer of the Emmaus Lions Minstrel Show, member of Emmaus Lodge #792 F&AM, 32nd Degree Mason and member of Lehigh Consistory, past chairman of Ethnic Days Committee for 10 years, past vice president of the Emmaus Downtown Merchants Association, Chairman of Emmaus Homecoming, Emmaus Day 1984, Entertainment, and Stadium Activities, former assistant Scoutmaster, Troop 70, Emmaus, and a "Order of the Arrow" Award recipient. Terry was an avid train hobbyist which he shared with his grandson Jonah. He was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church, where he served as a past sacristan.

Wife; Sons, Richard Paul Litzenberger (wife Donna) of Emmaus and Robert Terry Litzenberger (wife) Robin of Emmaus; Daughter, Laurie Bridgett Litzenberger of Emmaus, who lovingly cared for him for the past 2 years; Grandchildren, Alisha, Jonathan, Morgan, Marshall, and Jonah; Great Grandson, Giavanni; Brothers, Don Wieder of Emmaus and Bruce Wieder of Florida; Brother-in-Law, Jack Binder and wife Barbara of Emmaus; Aunt, Joyce Salines of Allentown; Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Services:
Funeral and Lions Club Services will be held on Saturday Jan. 30, 2016 at 2:30 PM in Emmaus Moravian Church, Main St. and Keystone Ave., Emmaus. Viewing 1:00 to 2:30 PM in the church. Interment will be held on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Northwood Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements. www.schantzfh.com
