Sterling G. Hein, 79, of Allentown, passed away September 11, 2025 in Lehigh Valley Hospice - Inpatient.  He was the husband of Diane M. (Marakovits) Hein.  Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Albert and Elda M. (Wink) Hein.  Sterling worked in the shipping and receiving department for Phillips Services, Hatfield for 25 years, retiring in 2013.  He was a former member of the Ridge Runners Gun Club and was an avid golfer and member of several golf leagues.

Sterling is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diane; daughters, Tracy wife of Tyler Eberts and Tammy Hein; sister, Nancy wife of Richard Snyder; grandson, Tucker.  He was predeceased by a son, Christopher Hein and 8 siblings.

A celebration of Sterling's life will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus.  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
