Stephen J. Silnik, Sr., 89, of Allentown and formerly of Emmaus, died Dec. 18, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the widow of Margaret A. (Schueck) Silnik. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Demeter and Mary Silnik. He worked in construction, at Perma Stone, and was a machine operator for That's Packaging for many years. He honorably served his country in the Army during WWII. Survivors: Son, Stephen J. Silnik, Jr. of Allentown; Brother, Raymond Silnik of Emmaus. Services: Friends may call Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus followed by a graveside service and interment in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
