Obituary

Stephen J. Silnik, Jr., 69, of Allentown, passed away Feb. 10, 2017 in his home. Born in Emmaus, PA, he was the son of the late Margaret A. (Schueck) and Stephen J. Silnik, Sr.  He worked as a groundskeeper at Wedgewood Golf Course in Limeport for over 40 years retiring in 2011. He took pride in volunteering for various animal shelters throughout the Lehigh Valley. He was a devoted friend to many and always offered a helping hand to those in need.
Survivors: Stephen is survived by cousins and many loving friends. Services: Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, 250 Main Street Emmaus, PA. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park 1700 Airport Road Allentown, PA. Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to The Sanctuary at Haafsville 901 Nestle Way Breiningsville, PA 18031.
