Shirley E. Polster, 88, of Allentown, died July 5, 2024 in Country Meadows.  She was the wife of the late Neil W. Polster.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Louis K. and Dorothy E. (Wertz) Apffel.  Shirley worked for General Electric for 15 years, retiring in 1986.  She was a member and recording secretary of the Emmaus Historical Society, Mercantile Club of Emmaus, and was an active card club member, playing bridge and canasta.

Shirley will be remembered by her daughters, Vicki Polster wife of Chuck Cech of Auburn, CA and Terri wife of Fran Conlin of Allentown; son-in-law, Jeff Hill of Allentown; daughter-in-law, Denise Polster of Livonia, MI; grandchildren, Mark Martucci, Brett Martucci and wife Cheryl, and Daniel Polster; great grandchildren, Brittany, Imogen, Evan, and McGwire.  She was predeceased by her son, John Polster, daughter, Judy Hill, and granddaughter, Sienna.

Funeral services will be held on Fri., July 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Emmaus Historical Society or Old Zionsville U.C.C.
