Shirley M. Huber, 82, of Emmaus, died August 4, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Harold S. Huber.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marie (Saul) Kistler.  Shirley was a 1961 graduate of Kutztown University, earning a degree in elementary education.  She worked as an elementary school teacher in the Allentown School District at Jefferson Elementary School and later operated Little Red Barn Nursery School for 30 years, retiring in 1999.  She was a member of St. John's U.C.C, Junior Woman's Club, Mercantile Club of Emmaus, alumni society at Kutztown University, and volunteered for the Channel 39 on-air auction for many years.

Shirley is survived by her son, Scott M. Huber and wife Linda (Creighton) of Allentown; grandchildren, Michael and Callie; great granddaughter, Emma.

Funeral services will be held on Mon., Aug. 8, 2022 at 7:00 PM in St. John's U.C.C., 139 N. 4 ^th St., Emmaus.  Viewing 6:00 to 7:00 PM in the church.  Private interment will be in New Bethel Zion Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
