Shirley M. Edelman, 83, formerly of Macungie, died July 13, 2025 in Mosser Nursing Home.  She was the wife of the late Paul E. Edelman, Sr.  Born in Marlborough Twp., Montgomery County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey M. and Eva (Reese) Moyer.  Shirley worked as a sewing machine operator for many years.  She was a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Shirley is survived by her son, Ralph Kleinsmith and wife Kim; stepson, Paul E. Edelman, Jr.; sisters, Pauline Strauss, Cindy Hillegass, Betty Rothrock, and Sarah Unger; grandchildren, Courtney, Kristin, Derek, Megan, Madison, Emmalie, Lorraine, Timothy, and Charlie; 7 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Beverly Fisher; stepdaughter, Dolores Reifinger; grandson, James.

Services will be private.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
