Obituary

Sandra A. Bors Sandra A. "Sandy" Bors, of Emmaus, died Dec. 22, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Frank Sr. for 49 years and mother of Frank Jr. Sandy was lovingly known as Mom-Mom to her three grandchildren, Trent, Brandon, and Grace Lillian, who were her pride and joys. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Marvin "Mal" and Lillian c. (Eckert) Lowe. She was in the first graduating class of Dieruff High School in 1960. An accounting student, she worked for Air Products, Inc., Trexlertown as a cast analyst for 10 years, a bookkeeper for J & J Floor Maintenance for 10 years, and was president and co-owner with her husband of Bors Motors, Inc. for 25 years. Sandy was a former volunteer for the former Allentown Hospital. She was a lifetime member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, where she was a published writer for the church newspaper. Under the byline "Reflection", she wrote 14 short stories. She was a former elected officer of the Upper Milford Twp., Eastern District, Election Board, for over 30 years. Sandy's favorite things besides being with her grandchildren were playing the organ, emailing on the computer, meeting friends for dinner and going to the movies every Tuesday night with her husband. Sandy was an avid Phillies fan for over 40 years. Survivors: Husband, Frank, J. Sr. of Emmaus; Son and Daughter-in-law, Frank J. Jr. and Jessica M. (Schmehl), Grandchildren, Trent, Brandon, and Grace Lillian Bors all of Alburtis; best friend and sister, Dorothy L. Warmkessel and brother-in-law, Leonard S. Warmkessel of Emmaus; Sister-in-law, Catherine Koch of Hazleton; Brother-in-law, Joseph E. and wife Victoria Bors of Glen Burnie, MD; Aunt Louise Taylor of Charleston, SC and other family members and numerous friends that she loved dearly. She was predeceased by daughter, Kerri Ann Bors and brothers, Robert and Richard. Services: Funeral Services Fri., Dec. 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
