Sandra Lee Aikey, 67, of Quakertown, passed away peacefully April 6, 2026 in St. Luke’s Hospice House surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Wilbur E. Aikey. Born in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Nancy (Berryman) and Charles Sauers, Jr. Sandra worked as a principal’s secretary at Palisades Middle School for 27 years, retiring in 2018. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Quakertown and Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie.

Sandra is survived by husband, Ed; sons, Justin G. Aikey and companion Sonya Shelley and Brain C. Aikey and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Marissa Aikey and Michala Wistrand; great grandchildren, Jackson and Peyton; siblings, Ramona wife of Terry Napp, Leonard Sauers and wife Kathy, and Daniel Sauers and wife Susan; sister-in-law, Kristin Sauers. She was predeceased by a brother, Delbert Sauers.

A memorial service will be held on Sat., April 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Grace Lutheran Church, 28 W. Main St., Macungie, PA 18062. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
