Ruth E. Stoudt, 97, of Washington, NJ, formerly of Zionsville, died May 28, 2018 in her daughter's residence.  She was the widow of Herman J. Stoudt, Sr.  Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Emily M. (Mebus) Pyle.  Ruth was a seamstress for Rems and R & F Dress Factory, Macungie, retiring in 1977.  She was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church and attended Washington United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Washington United Methodist Women.  Ruth was a member of Lower Lehigh Lions Club, Vera Cruz Senior Citizens, and a former member of the Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club.

She is survived by Daughters, Edna wife of William Schlott of Schnecksville, Sandra wife of Kenneth Stufflet of Allentown, Carol wife of Donald Bloch of Washington, NJ, and Darlene wife of Jeffrey Brosky of Zionsville; 16 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson.  She was predeceased by sons, Herman J. Stoudt, Jr. and James R. Stoudt; daughter, Eileen Wiley; sisters, Ruby Pedrick, Catherine Heimbach, and Geraldine Mulford; grandson, Joseph Wiley.

Funeral Services will be held on Sat., June 2, 2018 at 3:00 PM in Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5901 Kings Highway South, Old Zionsville, PA 18068.   Viewing Sat. 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the church. Interment Mon., June 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM in Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
