Ruth T. Baker Ruth T. Baker, 94, formerly of Emmaus, died January 16, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the widow of Thomas E. Baker. She was predeceased by a daughter Joan E. Baker. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Miller) Trump. She worked as a telephone operator for the former Bell Telephone for many years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus. Ruth was a member of the Mercantile Club, the Bell Telephone Pioneers and Emmaus New Comers Club. She was an avid golfer and bowler. She loved to travel, having traveled to China in her 80's. She was a volunteer at Lehigh Valley Hospital for many years. She was very passionate about dogs and children. Survivors: Son, Thomas B. Baker and wife Ingrid of Emmaus; Daughter, Barbara wife of Dennis Hoffman of Tucson, AZ; Sister, Bettie wife of Donald McLean of Macungie; Granddaughters and spouses, Suzanne and Brian, Cheryl and Bill, Kathy and Eric, Heather and Jason, and Sara and Ian; 9 Great Grandchildren. Services: Funeral Services Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM in St. John's Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
