Roy J. Ritter, Jr., 71, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Sept. 20, 2025 in his residence.   Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Nadine (Motzer) and Roy J. Ritter, Sr.  Roy worked in the aluminum castings department for Cera-Met, Bethlehem for many years.  He was a member of Guthsville Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed the gun range.  Roy appreciated music, playing the drums in local bands and listening to country music at local carnivals and fairs.  He was a motorcycle rider and liked going to the beach.

Roy is survived by his former wife, Nancy E. (Schmoyer) Ritter; son, Troy A. Ritter and life partner Allison; sister, Doreen wife of Harry Kolumber; grandson, Troy.  He was predeceased by a sister, Debbie Ritter.

A funeral will be held on Tues., Sept. 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
