Ronald H. Wessner, 74, of Emmaus, known to many as Pappy, went to play the big golf course in the sky on December 7, 2017. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, teacher, coach, friend, he would be happy knowing we are remembering the good and the beauty of his life. Ever since his heart transplant in 2009, he was playing with "house money" giving everyone an extra 8 years. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ruth (Folk) Wessner. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College and a Master's degree from Kutztown University. He taught math for 33 years, starting at William Allen and 30 years at Emmaus High School. He coached football and track and field for many years. He was an avid golfer, loved his family, especially his granddaughters, enjoyed vacations, country music, vanilla ice cream, yada, yada, yada.
