Ronald A. Schoonover, 65, of Emmaus, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at his residence. He was the husband of Patti A. (Lent) Schoonover. Born in Coudersport, PA, he was the son of the late Amon Schoonover and Sandra (Goodreau) Schoonover. He was a graduate of Coudersport Junior/Senior High School. Ronald worked for various commercial businesses in the area as a pipe fitter. He was a member of Faith Church in Allentown. Ronald was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed going kayaking and just being in nature and the outdoors.

Surviving along with his loving wife and mother are his two Sons, Wesley Schoonover and his wife Tiffany and Travis Schoonover and his wife Trynda; Daughter, Katie Schoonover; Grandchildren, Everett, Maverick, Elsie and Orin; Brother, Charlie Schoonover and his partner, Angie. He was preceded in death by a Brother, Kenneth Schoonover.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home P.C. in Emmaus is handling the arrangements.
