Ronald A. Oatman Ronald A. Oatman, 89, of Emmaus, PA died Friday, August 19, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. Mr. Oatman was born in Angola, NY to Arthur and Edith (Rick) Oatman. He was pre-deceased by his wife Sarah (Wilson) Oatman. They had been married 61 wonderful years. Ronald served in the military during World War II and worked at Western Electric as an engineer in Winston-Salem NC. After being transferred to Allentown, PA Ronald and his family lived in Emmaus PA. He and his wife later retired to Cary, NC and Morehead City, NC. Ron was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his son Ronald A. Oatman Jr. Survivors: Loving daughter, Ann Pospischil and husband John of Emmaus, PA; grandson, John M. Pospischil and wife, Angela of Emmaus, PA; grandson, James L. Pospischil and wife, Larissa of Zionsville, PA; great grandchildren, Tyler and Brooke Pospischil of Emmaus, PA and Corbin Pospischil of Zionsville, PA; brother, Edward Oatman of Murrieta, CA; brother-in-law Rudolph Joyce and wife, Betty of Mayodan, NC; brother-in-law, Tom B. Wilson and wife, Cookie of Winston-Salem, NC. Services: Funeral Service Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011 at 7:30 PM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
