Obituary

Ronald A. Moyer, 87, of Emmaus, died Jan. 1, 2021 in Phoebe Home.  Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Ralph A. and Alma (Rauch) Moyer.  He honorably served his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.  He worked for Rodale Manufacturing/Square D for 27 years.  While at Rodale, he was a member of Local 1197, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and served on the executive board and pension committee.  He retired from Bracalente Manufacturing Company in 1988 after 12 years.  He was a life member of VFW Post 7088, American Legion Post 191, and the Mercantile Club of Emmaus.  He was also a life member of the Marine Corps Association, Marine Corp Heritage Foundation, and the Emmaus Historical Society.

Ronald is survived by his daughters, Kim A. wife of Jay Morgenstern and Diann Y. Moyer; brother, Arlin Moyer and wife Gloria; sister, Marlee Seip; grandchildren, Jay Morgenstern, Jr. and Megan Morgenstern.  He was predeceased by a brother, Barry Moyer husband of Jean Moyer and a sister, Gloria Weida.

Graveside services with military honors will be held on Thur., Jan 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Gift Processing Administrator, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172.
