Ronald W. Miller Ronald W. Miller, 73, of Emmaus, died November 10, 2007 in VNA of St. Lukes Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Patsy C. (Crain) Miller. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March 2007. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Charles William and Bertha (Banulski) Miller. He began his professional career in 1958 with Volkert Stampings of Williamsport and remained with the firm through its acquisition by the Stanley Works and its eventual move to the Lehigh Valley in 1969 when it became Stanley-Vidmar. He retired in 1994 while serving as its Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. An avid golfer, he was a former member of Brookside and Saucon Valley Country Clubs, a member of Emmaus Mercantile Club and Emmaus Catholic War Vets, Post 1067. During his playing days and as a member of St. Anns Catholic Church in Emmaus, he could be routinely seen at the early Sunday mass ahead of his tee time. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force where he was a Staff Sergeant and air traffic controller in Guam during the Korean Conflict. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, survivors include: daughter Theresa and son-in-law Glenn of Ashburn, VA; son David, and daughter-in-law Kathleen of Madison, GA; son Matthew and daughter-in-law Kerri of Emmaus; sisters, Kathy wife of John Hornung of Williamsburg, VA, Christina Miller of Williamsport, Mary wife of Don Barbuto of Collegeville and 8 grandchildren. His grandson, Adam Heitz, preceded him in death. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM in St. Anns Catholic Church, 415 South 6th Street, Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM Thursday in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with military honors.
