Ronald W.F. Hertzog, 86, of Whitehall, formerly of Emmaus, died Jan. 15, 2022 in his home.  He was the husband of Bette A. (Neave) Hertzog.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Rolland and Anna (Harwick) Hertzog.  Ron was a 1953 graduate of Allentown High School.  He worked as a draftsman and later in the real estate department for PPL for 40 years, retiring in 1995.  He was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church, where he was a member of the Sacristans Corps, candle maker, and love feast bun maker.  He was a former member of Emmaus Lions Club and was an avid golfer.

Ron is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bette; children, Karen wife of Scott Weldon of Charleston, SC, Diane wife of Leo Garodz of Scottsdale, AZ, Ronald H. Hertzog and wife Desiree of Emmaus, Kristin wife of Jim Kellar of Vera Cruz, and Donna wife of Jimmy Leffler of Vera Cruz; 6 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Minich of Allentown.

A celebration of Ron's life will be held on Sat. June 11, 2022 at the Kellar Farm.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
