Obituary

Rodney B. Fenstermaker Rodney B. Fenstermaker, 74, of Emmaus, died February 27, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit. He was the widower of the late Francis (Merola) Fenstermaker. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Earle C. and Mildred A. (Hunsberger) Fenstermaker. He worked as a transportation manager for Canada Dry Bottling Company. Later he was a custodian for East Penn School District and worked in the pro shop at Wedgewood Golf Course. He was an avid golfer and took pride in achieving 3 holes in one. He was a member of St. Johns U.C.C., Emmaus, a member of All Faiths Quartet, singing in area churches. He played the clarinet in the Duma Deutsche Band with his father. Survivors: Son, Jeffrey A. Fenstermaker of Emmaus; Daughters, Nadine Bullock and Linda D. wife of Paul de Vries, both of Bethlehem; Brother, David Fenstermaker of Emmaus; Sister, Linda Hengeveld of Emmaus; Companion, Geraldine Zentmeyer of Allentown. He was predeceased by a brother, Harry Fenstermaker. Services: Funeral Services Monday, March 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus.
