Rodger F. Hartranft, 66, of Emmaus, died Jan. 26, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the husband of Carol A. (Ruth) Hartranft.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Patricia A. (Millets) and Rodger H. Hartranft, Jr.  Rodger worked as a cab driver, route driver for Guardian Photo and Qualex, driver for Para Transit, and was a bus driver for East Penn School District.  He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus.  He was a member of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus and Emmaus and Macungie Fire Police.

Rodger is survived by his wife of 31 years, Carol; estranged brothers, Richard and Michael Hartranft.

A celebration of Rodger's life will be announced at a later time.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
