Robin Hummel Kenner, 72, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was born November 1, 1952, in Sunbury, PA to the late Patricia and George Hummel.  She graduated from Selinsgrove High School in 1970, as the salutatorian of her class, and magna cum laude from Bucknell University in 1974.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Richard C. Kenner, Jr., children Kate Kenner Langlois (Kevin Union) and Rick and Jocelyn Kenner, and grandchildren Rylee, Kayla, Ben Langlois, Madelyn, and Aberdeen Langlois.  Robin's greatest source of pride was her grandchildren.  As "Gui Gui", she devoted her energy to encouraging their success.  She cherished seeing her kids flourish in swimming, school, and the arts, and the community in each of those groups valued her experience and perspective.  She loved watching Kayla and Madelyn swim, visiting Ben and Aberdeen in Charleston, and most of all, seeing her grandkids bonding together during family visits.  Robin and Rick enjoyed many trips to Atlantis through the years, with family and friends.  Robin loved her Westies, Charlie, Tim, and Lily, and was always followed through the house with a small white dog at her feet.  She enjoyed her community of friends at Brookside Country Club and will be remembered by all at her corner table by the swimming pool.  Robin will be missed deeply.

The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, December 28th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus with a brief prayer service at the conclusion of visitation.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your favorite charity.
