Robert E. Spohn, 79, of Emmaus, died peacefully November 11, 2024 in his residence.  He was the husband of Johanne L. (Rhode) Spohn.  Born in Oley, he was the son of the late Gordon and Pauline (Reinert) Spohn.  He worked for Michael R. Skrip Excavating for 30 years.  Bob was a member of Frieden's Lutheran Church, Oley and St. John's U.C.C., Emmaus.  He was also a member of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus and Emmaus Fire Company #1.

Robert will be remembered by his wife of 28 years, Johanne; son, Bryan Spohn and partner Kali Yext; daughters, Nancy Graham and Alison wife of Harold Dries; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Gordon Spohn, Ruthann Moyer, and David Spohn.  He was predeceased by a son, Mark Spohn.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held at his home on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024 beginning at 1:00 PM.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
