Robert B. Slaby, 80, formerly of Ancient Oaks, Macungie, died January 17, 2018 in Mosser Nursing Home.  He was the husband of Elizabeth B. (Bulavage) Slaby.  Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Michael and Ann (Karitis) Slaby.  He worked as a computer operator for Lehigh Valley Dairy for many years.  He was also a school bus driver.  He was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus.  He had a passion for umpiring softball. Bob loved to travel.  He was a regular blood donor and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.  He was a passionate A's and NY Giants fan but most of all he loved his family. Robert proudly served his country in the US Navy.

Survivors: Wife, Elizabeth; Sons, John M. Slaby and wife Marianne of Palmerton and Robert J. Slaby and wife Michele of Center Valley; Sister, Sylvia Kranchick of Carlisle; Grandson, Joshua.
