Robert V. Reckmack, 79, of Slatington, formerly of Emmaus, died Oct. 2, 2018 in St. Luke's Hospital, Palmerton.  Born in Danbury, CT, he was the son of the late Raymond V. and Claire E. (Neimeyer) Reckmack.

Bob is survived by his many Merakey Family members and friends.  He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis M. Reckmack.

Bob enjoyed viewing the beautiful outdoors through the eye of his binocular collection.  He liked visiting the Comic Masters Comic Book Store, collecting sunglasses, and through the years he enjoyed satisfying his eclectic palette.  He was a spiritual gentleman who believed in angels, God, and Heaven.  He had a terrific sense of humor and an awesome belly laugh that was contagious.

Funeral Services will be held on Mon., Oct. 8, 2018 at 10:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus .  Viewing 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery.
