Robert S. Hornberger, 88, formerly of Salisbury Twp., passed away July 4, 2026 in Devon House. He was the husband of the late Sandra L. (Shaffer) Hornberger. Born in Mohnton, he was the son of the late George and Florence (Marsh) Hornberger. He honorably served his country in the Army Reserves. He dedicated his career as an accountant to Western Electric and its successor companies, retiring after 42 years from Nokia in 1998. Bob, a musical theater lover, was an active member of the Municipal Opera Company (MunOpCo), with which he performed numerous shows and where he met not only his wife but other lifelong friends as well.

Robert is survived by his sons, Miles Hornberger and wife Melissa and Kirk Hornberger and husband Mark Usher; grandson, Zachary.

A memorial service will be held on Sat., July 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation with family 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
