Robert A. Freddie Fritch Robert A. Freddie Fritch, 84, of Emmaus, died Nov. 2, 2012 in the Phoebe Home. He was the widower of Mary P. (Fegley) Fritch. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Lloyd A. and Erma M. (Acker) Fritch. He worked as a gauger for Buckeye Pipeline for 28 years, retiring in 1988. He honorably served his country in the Marine Corps during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Johns U.C.C. and Emmaus VFW Post 7088. In his retirement, he enjoyed golfing. Survivors: Daughter, Kathleen wife of Wayne Geist of Harrisburg; Grandchildren, Kerianne and Jason and wife Emily; Great Grandson, Tyler. He was predeceased by a son, John B. Fritch and a brother, Donald Fritch. Services: Viewing Fri., Nov. 9, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
