Ricky C. Dougherty, age 63, of Emmaus, passed away on August 19, 2024 at home. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Janie (Peifer) Haymaker and the late Charles A. Dougherty and step-son to the late Robert Haymaker.

Ricky proudly served in the USMC. He held various positions in construction and worked for Tyler Pipe Co., in Macungie.

Ricky will be remembered by his mother, Janie Haymaker; sons, Ricky Dougherty, Jr., Anthony Dougherty and his wife Michelle, Tyler Dougherty; daughter, Christina Ayers and her husband Christopher; grandchildren, Arianna, Kyndra, Ambrielle, Braedon, Olivia, Haevin, Isabella, Madden, Myla, Daxton and Lainee; brothers, John, Erik, Ryan and Kyle and sister, Sheri. He was predeceased by wife, Charlene (Dossat) Dougherty.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
