Richard S. Ruben, 70, of Zionsville, died Sept. 18, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the husband of Sharon A. (Lute) Ruben, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage.  Born in Indiana, PA, he was the son of the late George and Ann (Sagal) Ruben.  He was a graduate of Millersville University.  Rich was a graphic arts teacher at Emmaus High School for 38 years, retiring in 2008.  He was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Rich is survived by his wife, Sharon; Sons, Richard S. Ruben, Jr. and wife Denise of Spencer, NY and Christopher G. Ruben and wife Monique of Manchester, MD; Daughter, Jessica R. wife of Matthew Michetti of Falls Church, VA; Sisters, Patricia Blazosky of Northfield, OH and Shirley Connolly of Carmel, NY; Grandchildren Caden Ruben, Merit Ruben, Miles Michetti, Mercy Ruben, and Maclen Michetti.

Funeral Services will be held on Fri., Sept. 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5901 Kings Highway S., Old Zionsville, PA 18068.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Schantz Funeral home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
