Richard Paul Moyer, Sr., 91, of Allentown, died Dec. 29, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospice Center.  He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Grace T. Moyer on May 10, 2013.  Born in Hamburg on Jan. 4, 1932, he was the son of the late Esther and Edwin J. Moyer.  He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  After returning from Korea, he worked as an accountant for various employers including himself.  He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church of Wescosville.

Richard is survived by his children, Richard P. Moyer, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Allentown, Debra A. and her husband Eric Wisniewski of Fleetwood, Stacy A. Moyer and companion Lewis Freed, Jr. of Allentown, Ross P. Moyer and wife Michele of Allentown, and Ryan P. Moyer Sr. and wife Stephanie of Slatington; grandchildren,  Angela L. (Stopp) and husband Rob Keeley, Richard P. Moyer, III, Ryan P. Moyer, Jr. and companion Chelsey Stover, and Kaitlyn M. Moyer; sister-in-law, Doris Moyer of Strausstown.  He was predeceased by brothers, Arlan H. Moyer, James W. Moyer, and Edwin J. Moyer, Jr.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
