Richard A. Ecker Richard A. Ecker, 75, of Macungie, died on July 24, 2010 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit. He was the widower of the late Pauline C. (Kichline) Ecker. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Adolph and Theresa (Yost) Ecker. He was a warehouse manager for the former Strohs Brewery, retiring in 1994. After retirement, he delivered flowers for the Macungies Posey Patch. He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown. Survivors: Son, Michael D. Ecker and wife Ruth E. of Emmaus; Brother, Joseph Ecker and wife Carol of Cooperburg; Granddaughters, Jeannine Ecker and Shelby wife of Brett Katz, Great Grandchildren, Richard C. Ehrie, Nicholas Fegley, and Shayna Katz. He was predeceased by a son Clark R. Ecker and a brother, Robert Ecker. Services: Funeral Service Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
