Richard Burgos, 56, of Mt. Carmel, passed away unexpectedly August 31, 2026 in his home. He was the husband of Jennifer R. (Mast) Burgos. Born in Bronx, NY he was the son of the late Carmen Lopez. Richie worked as a chef for Hollywood Casino, Grantville for many years. He was an avid New York Yankees fan.

Richie is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Jennifer; sister, Chany Quinones; niece, Angie and her husband Kurt; great nephew, Milo; father and mother-in-law, Harry and Irene Mast; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Patrick Regan. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Francis Bruno Padilla and grandfather, Jose Manuel Lopez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 415 South 6th Street, Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Emmaus.
