Obituary

Rhea E. Moyer Rhea E. Moyer, 90, of Emmaus, died Feb. 18, 2011 in Cedarbrook. Born in Macungie, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Helen (Schuler) Moyer. She worked as a Nursery School teacher at the First Church of the Nazarene, Allentown, retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Peters Union Church, Macungie. She honorably served her country in the Army Womens Corp during WWII. Survivors: Son, Timothy A. Moyer of Jim Thorpe; Daughter, Linda wife of Leland T. Carl of Kutztown; Brother, Donald Moyer and wife Nancy of Macungie; Grandchildren, Joslyn, Anthony, Jeremy, Timothy, Jr., and Charles; Great Granddaughter, Cassandra; Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Franklin Moyer and a sister, Vivian Conrad. Services: Funeral Services Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 12 Noon to 1:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Peters Union Cemetery, Macungie.
