Raymond E. Spaide, 85, of Whitehall, died August 24, 2014 in Lehigh Center. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frederick and Sarah (Geissinger) Spaide. He was a chef at Youell's Oyster House and enjoyed gardening. He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors: Brother, Frederick Spaide of Allentown; Sister, Jean Spaide of Allentown; 4 Nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Burkhardt. Services: Memorial Service Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 7:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Private interment in Upper Milford Mennonite Cemetery.
